History of Mom’s Market
Mom’s Market started in December 2002 as an online shopping mall directory of mom-based businesses. As the internet has evolved, consumers no longer wanted just a listing of stores, but reviews of products and detailed information instead. In 2006, Mom’s Market began to focus on product reviews at the main focus of the site.
Mom’s Market Today
In 2010, the site was redesigned to offer nothing but product reviews and detailed business listings. This site gives consumers an chance to hear about the product from the stand point of another consumer, as well as see ratings and reviews on stores as a whole.
Where the Review Come From
All reviews are submitted by the owners or reps of the business. Information is gathered from business owners first, then reviews are written based on personal use by members of the Mom’s Market family. Care is taken to not accept products which will not be used or properly tested by those writing the reviews.

About the Owner
Kara Kelso is the owner of Mom’s Market, and mother of 2 children. Reviews are written by Kara, as well as family members and friends. Kara is also the owner of Prairie Soy Candles and Idea Queen. Her daughter has also started her own business, which is Soap by Jillian.

I do appreciate your having GracefulArts on Mom’s Market Online. I was just taking a look around, and I noticed a couple of things you may want to take care. I have been blessed (or cursed!) with the talent to proofread, whether or not I am setting about it intentionally. Under the “Shop Handmade” title, the word Jewelry, and the word Scrapbook, have typos. They are each missing a letter.
