Creamy Chipotle Dip Mix
Posted on Jan 17, 2008 under Foods | No Comment“Chipotle” is not a term I’m familiar with, but it sure did sound interesting. I’m a sucker for most any kind of dip, and I was more than willing to try this one out.
Right out of the package I knew this was going to be a hit - before the mix was even opened I could smell it through the bag! Wow! Talk about making someone hungry with a scent.
There were easy instructions right on the back, and the dip very quick to make. All I had to do was put in two ingredients, and then put in the fridge for an hour. I made it just before we made supper, so we would have it in time for supper that night.
It was a huge hit! Just a few of the ingredients in the dip were chili pepper, bell pepper, onion, and garlic. Due to those “spicy” ingredients, I worried how much my kids would like it. While it had a “kick”, it wasn’t too spicy for my kids in the least. The entire family loved it, and we’ll definitely have to make this again.
